Rate of pay: £12.00 - £13.35 per hour (dependent on experience) plus mileage expenses.

Falcon Support Services provides supported accommodation and community projects to those that are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or vulnerable in the community.
Our service helps vulnerable people by providing safe and secure accommodation with our staff working alongside clients to help them develop their skills, so they can move away from homelessness to living independently and positively contribute to their community.
Purpose of the job:
To provide efficient and effective maintenance support to the organisation across Falcon Support Services.
To observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered to.
To ensure the removal and correct disposal of refuse and larger items.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance
To comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and Falcon Support Services policies and carry out weekly fire alarm tests and assist with evacuation procedures.
To understand and comply with Falcon Support Services equal opportunities policy.
To take responsibility for completing all requirements within timeframe as directed by the Health and Safety Manager and/or Accommodation Manager.
To ensure that all required checklists are completed for all duties.
To take responsibility for continuous improvement in service delivery and working practices.
General
To implement and adhere to Falcon Support Services policies and procedures as well as any specific local procedures.
To develop team spirit and co-operative working across staff team.
To undertake any additional tasks and/or duties as deemed necessary in order to meet the requirements of funders, partner agencies or any other such organisations.
To undertake any such additional duties that is reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.
To undertake/attend any training and/or meetings as required by the job role.
To promote a positive image of Falcon Support Services and the service, working as part of an integrated team.
Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety policies are implemented effectively.
