Frozen Falcon Backed by Local Businesses

Over the weekend, our Fundraising and Communications Manager, Lee, along with the team, embarked on a thrilling High Altitude Ascent of Mt Olympus. This challenging endeavor is a significant feat for any aspiring mountaineer, especially in the winter and snow-covered conditions. With the generous support of local businesses rallying together to sponsor our flag, our team was motivated and ultimately achieved a successful summit.

This marks the second time we have taken on such a demanding challenge, but the first with a team of dedicated fundraisers. The accomplishment has not only set a high bar for our supporters but also inspired them to consider similar challenges. Such expeditions not only immerse individuals in new cultures but also provide a physical challenge, a sense of achievement, and a goal to strive for in the months ahead, all contributing to improved health and wellbeing.

This substantial sum will greatly aid us in continuing our essential work during these challenging times.
